Two rooms, a 22-metre terrace, sea views, and the unmistakable feeling of absolute arrival.
The palazzo's penthouse occupies the entire top floor — 62 square metres of it — with a 22-metre private terrace facing the Adriatic. This is the Duchess Grande Suite: two rooms, a separate sitting room, a copper soaking tub positioned to face the sea, and the kind of silence that only arrives at altitude, above the old town, after dark.
The sitting room is furnished with a pair of deep sofas, a library of Italian and English volumes, and a marble-topped bar stocked with aged Puglian spirits. The bedroom — a separate room, behind a single pocket door — is centered on a king bed dressed in 600-thread-count Egyptian cotton, positioned so that the first thing visible on waking is the Adriatic horizon through full-height terrace doors.
A copper soaking tub — cast to order, set on a limestone plinth — occupies the corner of the bathroom with the best view of the sea. There is also a walk-in rain shower in brushed nickel, a double vanity in Calacatta marble, and a dressing room with built-in wardrobes. Breakfast is served on the private terrace. Dinner can be arranged the same way. It is that kind of suite.
Rates include daily housekeeping, a Puglian breakfast served on the terrace, and full access to all communal spaces — the rooftop pool, garden courtyard, and library. Subject to seasonal availability.
